These Beaded Triangle Earrings create a bold geometric statement and are surprisingly easy to make. They use Swarovski pearls and Czech seed beads woven together using a clear monofilament thread. Sometimes I know exactly what I want to make when I sit down to make a DIY, but other times, ideas come from just playing around with materials. You lovely lot are clearly fans of a beaded geometric earring, because my Bugle Bead Earrings have been really, really popular, so I wanted to make something similar for you, but this time triangular!
3.Pull tight and it should form the middle of your triangle!
4.With your thread coming out of the very first s8, add on 3 x s8 beads and come back through the original s8 again.
5.Pull the thread tight to create the first point of our triangle. 6.Working anti-clockwise, go through the next 6mm and s8 beads
7. Repeat steps 4 & 5, adding on 3 x s8 and going back through the seed bead the thread was coming of of at the beginning of the step, and pulling the thread tight. 8.Repeat this process a third time to make the final point. No idea where the fluff in this photo came from.....
9.To add some definition to our triangle, were are going to add a couple of seed beads either side of the points. Take your thread through the next 6mm bead, and thread on a s8 10.Take the thread around the three 'point' s8 beads added previously
11.Thread on another s8
12.Take your thread through the next 6mm and pull tight
13. Repeat steps 9 - 12 for the other two 'points'. If the points look a little rounded, adjust the tension and pinch to create a more defined shape.
Once you are happy, tie off the threads, hide the tails in the beadwork and cut off the excess. 14.Open up a 5mm jump ring and thread through one of the s8 beads at the tip of a point.
15.You can then add this to the loop on an earring finding. Repeat all the steps to make the second earring!

You will need:
-6x 6mm round beads, I'm using Swarovski Pearls in Dark Lapis -36 x Size 8 (s8) seed beads -0.25mm Supplemax monofiliment thread -2 x 5mm jump rings -2 x fishhook earringsHow to make Beaded Triangle Earrings:
1.Cut a 60cm length of clear Supplemax thread and thread on 1 x s8 bead, 1 x 6mm bead, 1x s8, 1 x 6mm, 1 x s8 and 1 x 6mm. To make it easier for you to see, I'm using a needle and black beading thread- I wouldn't recommend using a thread like Nymo as it is just too floppy! 2.Leave a 10cm tail, take your thread back round to the beginning and go back through the 1st s8 bead to form a loop3.Pull tight and it should form the middle of your triangle!
